He is known among his clients and colleagues for his communicativeness, reliability, and responsiveness. Shawn has a deep understanding of what it takes to find effective solutions for even the most complex probate cases and finds satisfaction in helping his clients adequately prepare for the future when it comes to planning their estates. He works closely with each of his clients, providing them with the certainty, comfort, and knowledge they need while suffering the loss of a loved one — or as they deal with the realities of an unfair family dynamic.

Having grown up in Fort Worth, Texas, Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from West Texas A&M University, where he graduated with honors. He earned his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law, where he held a position planning The Big Event - Fort Worth with the 12th Law Man, an organization that preserves and promotes the law school’s traditions of outreach and education. During law school, Shawn also clerked for a judge in probate court, where he was able to observe mental health hearings and guardianship proceedings. It was at this time that he discovered his passion for serving his community in probate matters and helping people navigate life after the passing of a family member.

When he isn’t in the office, Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, their three dogs, and extended family. He also enjoys reading and is an active member of his religious community in the Fort Worth area.
